Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated television series produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios. The first first ran in the early 2000’s and revolves around a story where some people in the world have the ability to manipulate – or bend – one of the four elements: earth, air, fire, water. Only one person, the Avatar, can manipulate all four elements and is responsible for keeping balance in the world. The series went on to inspire a live-action film, graphic novels, books and even additional animated series’.
