First debuting in September of 1966, the original Star Trek series would only run for three seasons, with a total of 79 episodes, but the influence it had on the world is undeniable. Star Trek would go on to spawn EIGHT Television series, 13 feature films, books, board games, toys, video games and much more. It could be argued that Star Trek influenced several modern day scientific advancements in technology, travel and space exploration as the show served to inspire multiple generations of youth growing up who admired the series.
